Working with architects Archer Humphryes, we created a warm interior to contrast with the glass and steel of the skyscraper. Dark woods, soft lighting and tactile materials give a textured, comfortable aesthetic, while floor-to-ceiling windows offer incredible views.

Achieving an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM certification, The Shard features an on-site energy plant, a triple-skin energy efficient facade, solar blinds that minimise glare, conversion of waste into energy through incineration and low volume high pressure water taps.
