Aldgate provides a cheaper alternative to The Square Mile, which is only a stones' throw away. If you want to find even lower rents, head east to Whitechapel where many business are setting up shop in a very 'cool' area at affordable prices

As the City of London slowly sprawls outwards over the years many firms have flocked to Aldgate where rents are slightly lower but you are still right in amongst some big names in the world of finance. As you venture ever so slightly east you hit Whitechapel which is immediately 'cool' and 'trendy' and teeming with restaurants and bars in which to blow off steam after a long hard day.
