Historically the centre of London’s legal profession, the area is now a diverse hub of commerce and culture – home to lawyers, journalists, ad agencies, and many other professional services firms.
Midtown is a sought-after area of London between the West End and London's Square Mile. With great transport connections and with a number of Grade A office developments, Midtown demands a mid-range price point and the best buildings will demand reasonable desk rates and rents.

As well as plenty of bars and restaurants, the area around Holborn & Chancery Lane is home to some of the oldest pubs in London: like The Old Bell (est. 1678), built by Sir Christopher Wren, and Ye Olde Cock Tavern (est. 1549), where Dickens and Dr Johnson chose to take their Ale. If wood panelling and wonky floors are your bag, then this part of town has plenty of history to explore. We also highly recommend a trip to The Pie Room at Holborn Dining Room – takeaway pies courtesy of renowned pastry chef Calum Franklin.
